These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Sayara platform ("the Platform") for listing and browsing car ads in the State of Qatar. By using the Platform or creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read, accepted, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by the laws and regulations in force in the State of Qatar. If you do not agree to any provision, please do not use the Platform.
1. Nature of the service
Sayara is an intermediary online platform that lets individuals and dealers list cars for sale and connect buyers with sellers. The Platform is not a party to any sale, purchase, or negotiation, does not own or warrant the listed vehicles, and its role is limited to providing the technical means for listing and contact.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Qatari phone number. Identity is verified via a one-time code sent to your phone. You are responsible for keeping access to your account confidential and for all activity under it, and you agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
3. Posting ads
You confirm that you own the advertised vehicle or are authorized to list it, and that all details (make, model, year, price, specifications, photos) are true, accurate, and not misleading. Duplicate, fake, unlawful, stolen, or non-compliant listings are prohibited.
4. Prohibited content
You may not post content that violates Qatari law or public morals, infringes third-party or intellectual-property rights, is fraudulent or misleading, contains deceptive contact details, or breaches the Anti-Cybercrime Law No. 14 of 2014. The admin may remove any violating content without prior notice.
5. Review and approval
Ads are subject to admin review before or after publishing. The admin may approve, reject, edit, archive, or delete an ad, or suspend an account for violations, at its discretion and without liability.
6. Listing duration and renewal
Each ad has a display period set by the admin. When it lapses, the ad expires and may be renewed by the advertiser. Expired, un-renewed ads may be removed after a grace period.
7. Fees and paid services
Some services are paid, such as photographing the vehicle via a Platform representative for a fee announced in advance. Fees paid for a service already performed are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. Electronic transactions are subject to the E-Commerce Law No. 16 of 2010.
8. Export and social publishing
The Platform lets you export cards, images, and video of an ad and publish them to social channels. By publishing or requesting publishing, you grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to use your ad content (images and data) to display and market the ad on the Platform and its channels.
9. Contact-data protection
The advertiser's phone number is not shown directly in the ad; it is revealed to the buyer only upon an explicit request, to protect the advertiser from automated harvesting. Using contact data for anything other than contacting about the ad is prohibited.
10. Intellectual property
All rights to the Platform, its trademark, design, and content are reserved. No part may be copied or reused without prior written permission.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty. It does not guarantee ad accuracy, vehicle quality, completion of deals, or user conduct. The buyer and seller alone are responsible for verification, inspection, and completing the sale. The Platform disclaims liability for any direct or indirect damage arising from use.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify the Platform against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms, the law, or third-party rights.
13. Suspension and termination
The admin may suspend or terminate your account or remove your ads at any time for breaching the Terms or laws, without prior notice and without liability.
14. Changes to the Terms
The Platform may amend these Terms at any time; changes take effect once published. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Qatar, and the Qatari courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
16. Communications and notifications
By creating an account and providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS and WhatsApp messages from the platform for operational purposes, including verification codes, ad-status and expiry notices, and support. These are service messages necessary to run your account.
17. Publishing on behalf via a rep
The platform may allow an ad to be posted on an advertiser's behalf through an authorized rep. In that case the ad is created under the advertiser's phone number after their consent is verified with a code sent to their phone. Using another person's phone number, or impersonating them, to post an ad or submit a request without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited, and whoever does so bears full legal responsibility.
